New Home Owner/Builder Rebate Plan

Our Services

This is the latest WelchGas Rebate Program, designed to save the new homeowner and building contractor several hundred dollars during construction and over the life of their new home.

The program includes the following:

  1. WelchGas will install the gas piping (materials & labor) inside the house free of charge to each gas appliance. “Standby outlets” are not included and will be charged at a rate of $100.00 each. (New home must have gas for primary heating and water heating to qualify for full rebates).
  2. WelchGas will lease to the customer a propane tank of adequate size for their new home. Annual lease is $65.00 + tax per year. Underground tanks are available thru a customer PURCHASE plan.
  3. WelchGas will install the propane tank and run up to 50 feet of gas service line – to include one regulator – at no charge. (Over 50 feet – the charge will be $2.50 per foot).
  4. Gas fireplace outlets or key valves will be installed for a charge of $150.00 per outlet.
  5. WelchGas will inspect, make conversions, and adjust all gas appliances as necessary to ensure proper operation. HVAC contractors should handle central heating adjustments.
  6. WelchGas will provide propane service to the customer on a “keep full” basis, and will guarantee dependable service and competitive prices.
  7. If your gas energy and heating plans do not meet the above specifications – we may modify our program to meet your needs.
